Why choose CFM North East for your cleaning machinery and equipment

What working with us actually looks like, and why it’s different from buying off a national e-commerce site.

There are plenty of places to buy industrial cleaning equipment. Most of them are large e-commerce operations selling on price, with no real product knowledge behind the listing. We don’t try to compete on that ground.

What we do offer is more than 25 years of experience in industrial cleaning, a high quality range of equipment from leading manufacturers, and a team that knows the difference between what’s right for your application and what’s just easy or most profitable to sell.

Here’s what working with us actually looks like.

A range that covers the work, not just the catalogue

We supply scrubber dryers, floor sweepers, industrial vacuums (including ATEX vacuum cleaner certified models for hazardous environments), ride-on machines, buffers, steam generators, burnishers, pressure washers and gutter cleaning kits. The range covers every common use case in industrial and commercial cleaning.

Customers we serve include manufacturing plants, food production facilities, healthcare environments, warehousing and logistics operations, schools, airports and the automotive sector. The application drives the equipment choice, not the other way around. If you tell us what you need to clean, we’ll narrow the options down to what genuinely fits your requirements.

Approved supplier for the brands that matter

We’re an approved Nilfisk supplier and we work with Viper, Truvox, Comac, Fimap, Makita, SkyVac and other leading manufacturers. Approved supplier status matters because it means we can get parts, support and training direct from the manufacturer, and we know the equipment properly rather than reading the spec sheet at the same time as you are.

Buy, hire or lease

Outright purchase isn’t always the right answer. We offer:

  • Short-term hire for one-off jobs, contract work or covering machines that are out for repair. Daily, weekly or monthly. Useful when you need kit fast.

  • Contract hire for businesses that want the equipment without the asset on the balance sheet. Includes servicing, breakdown cover and replacement if anything goes wrong. Predictable monthly cost, no surprises.

  • Lease purchase spreads the cost of buying over a fixed term, with ownership at the end. Useful if cash flow is the issue rather than long-term commitment.

The right option depends on how you’ll use the machine, how often you’ll use it, and how your business prefers to fund capital equipment. We’ll talk it through honestly, including the cases where hiring or leasing isn’t the cheaper choice.

Servicing across most major brands

We service and repair industrial cleaning equipment from Nilfisk, Viper, Comac, Victor, Karcher, Fimap, Eureka, Numatic, Tennant and others. That is includes scheduled maintenance contracts, breakdown call-outs and one-off repairs.

Regular servicing isn’t a nice-to-have on with industrial cleaning equipment, it’s a necessity for long term productivity, life cycle and value perspective. Bearings, motors, batteries, brushes, squeegees and seals all wear, and a machine that isn’t maintained will fail at the worst possible time. A planned service schedule costs less than reactive repairs and keeps the machine running effectively between visits.

On-site visits and demonstrations

This is where we differ most from the online-only operators. Before you commit to a machine, a member of our team will visit your site, review your specific requirements, the workflow patterns, on site conditions, and recommend something that fits your specific facility.

We’ll also bring the machine in for a working demonstration. We provide you with an opportunity to see the machine you might wish to potentially purchase operating at your facility. Your staff will have the opportunity to actually utilise the machine, checking and satisfying them that it will fully complete the job you require of it. You see it run on your floor, your debris, your environment, and your team gets to operate it.

We believe this is a much better solution for you to make an informed purchasing decision.

After-sales is part of the service

When you buy from us, the relationship doesn’t end at the invoice. We’re your point of contact for parts, troubleshooting, operator questions/ training and potential future upgrades. Most of our customers have been with us for years because the kit equipment we supply keeps working, and if you do have any problems, we are easy to get hold of and swiftly fix the issue if required.
