April Round - Up at CFM
As we step into Spring here at CFM we are welcoming the brighter days and the glimpse of blue skies & sunshine, April has seen CFM continue to drive on sales of new floorcare machines, build exciting new customer relationships and demand continues to grow for our Industrial Vacuums.
Sweeper Madness : The Mighty Viper ROS1300
Not one, not two, but three demonstrations of the impressive Viper ROS1300 Ride on Sweeper took place this month alone, unsurprisingly two have already been purchased and the third is still a strong possible sale.
The Viper ROS1300 Sweeper is easy to operate, requires very little maintenance, which makes it a popular choice for large industrial facilities.
Rich demonstrated the Viper ROS1300 Ride On Sweeper at a large precision engineering facility based up in the North East.
This site covers everything from metal pressings and fabrication to powder coating, painting, and full assembly production lines making it the perfect environment to showcase this particular sweeper's capabilities.
He then provided in depth operator training to the team, following this session staff were able to use the machine, safely, effectively and with confidence as you can see in the below video.

The second Viper ROS1300 has been chosen by one of our long term loyal customers, an award winning North East pet food manufacturer. In addition to purchasing this impressive Ride on Sweeper they also chose a Viper AS850R Ride On Scrubber Dryer. The perfect combination of machines to keep the warehouse and logistics centre clean.
A full sweep with the ROS1300 Sweeper followed by a floor scrub with the Viper AS850R Scrubber Dryer. A highly efficient & productive combination leading to consistently high floor cleanliness standards.
Once again we hand delivered both brand new machines and provided on site training to the team
Industrial Vacuums: Demand Keeps Growing
April saw the delivery of a wide range of Industrial and ATEX vacuum solutions across multiple sectors. This included a Compressed Air Industrial Vacuum the perfect fit for a food & beverage manufacturer just across the Pennines in Rochdale. We also delivered a very large high powered Industrial Vacuum the Nilfisk 3707/10 to a fabrication engineering company in Grimsby and we delivered a VHS110 Zone 22 Explosion Proof Industrial Vacuum to a local Industrial Powder Coating facility in Newton Aycliffe.
Rounding off the month, an Attix 40 Industrial Vacuum was supplied to a worldwide leading biopharma company in the region.

We have been working hard behind the scenes curating up to date sector specific full guides and DSEAR rating articles to ensure our customers stay informed and aligned with the latest safety regulations. These guides are to assist our customers understanding what are the requirements in terms of zone, filter & dust classifications.

HIRE : Short Term Hire with very Short Notice-24 hours
We have a Viper AS710R Ride On Scrubber Dryer out on hire to a logistics company in Liverpool. Due to the large stock of machinery we hold & our inhouse engineering workshop, we can often help our customers at very short notice. This week saw the team deliver this particular hire machine within a 24 hour time period.
Another customer coming to the end of a long term hire this month, so Rich visited the site to see how things were going and discuss next steps, whether that meant extending the hire, exploring other options, or adapting to any changes in their needs.
During the visit, the customer mentioned issues with their scrubber dryer getting clogged. Rich recommended introducing a pedestrian sweeper and explained the benefits of machine sweeping before cleaning, helping to prevent this problem.
Servicing : Keeping Machines Running
As always this month our engineering team have been kept very busy, we have machines out on Long Term Hire that we maintain through out their hire agreement and we have adhoc breakdowns and repairs to attend. This month also saw the team travel to Gretna Green to complete a large service project for a facilities management company, carrying out full servicing and PAT testing across a wide range of cleaning machines.
When not out on the road, Wayne Pearce, our Head of Engineering, can usually be found in the workshop working on refurbishment projects. From stripping a machine right back to its chassis through to carefully replacing worn components, each rebuild is a detailed process focused on bringing equipment back to life and ensuring it performs to the highest standard, again a process we are immensely proud of. Looking Ahead:
As we wrap up April, we are already starting to feel the pace of May picking up. We are looking forward to keeping the momentum going and to continue to support our customers old and new every step of the way.
